XiTang, Zhejiang Province, China

A few shots to share from a quick visit to XiTang, a small water town community located approximately 20 minutes from our Luxu Village and near Shanghai. This water town boasts 104 bridges and no modern housing in the town. From what I could see, architectural modernization was nowhere to be seen. Nice, quaint, & an old charm feel to the place, worth the visit.

Visitors to the this little coffee shop pin their bus ticket or a small token to show they visited the shop. Very quaint coffee shop and the gentleman running the place spoke a bit of English.

I was able to capture this image during our gondola boat ride through the town. More amazing is that these timbers hold up the building that was above it.
