Hudu Rampart – Shanghai China

Hudu Rampart was once located by Jing An Temple. It was first built by Yu Tan to protect local people from sea rovers during the reign of Emperor Chen in the years 326 – 342, this was during the East Jing Dynasty. In 400, general Yuan Song-shan had the rampart bebuilt in order to guard against Sun En. Later through Chinese generations the name was changed and called Hudu Rampart.
