Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside

I kept wondering what photo’s I would add for this Weekly Photo Challenge. Early today I took a walk through the part of town we call Old Luxu and look what I found! The children are inside the back of a 3 wheeled motor vehicle.  While grandpa was making deliveries the children were kept out of street in the back of the vehicle. Think safety!

Photo’s were taken with an iPhone 4s.

    • Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I have to chuckle at your comment because as I was going through the photo’s last night, I thought, “if I don’t explain, someone is going to get the wrong idea”.

China – here grandparents for the most part take care of the grandchildren. There are so many accidents relating to scooters zipping in and out in a fast rate of speed. I can see the need for grandpa to have cart them around in this manner however unconventional it might be.

      Have a fabulous day!

    • Hi there, in a country where grandparents take care of most grandchildren, I thought grandpa had a great way of keeping the children off the road. Of course this method would be frowned on back in the states. Ha!

On a serious note, there are so many accidents here with scooters that I can see why grandpa was carting his grandchildren like this. A friend on FB agreed that it’s unconventional and this would probably be frowned on.

No probably about it I think, it would sure be frowned on and I’m sure some kind of authority would be called.

One of the neatest things about this country is that children are so loved (as in most countries). It is not unusual to have a baby and have someone cooing and ooing all over the child out on the street. The park/lake area is always always full of grandparents with grandchildren out and about. Which gives me an idea to look through my archives and share park pictures.

      Hope all is well –

      • I figured it was for a reason like that. 🙂 Our neighbor is Chinese (I’m not sure where they’re originally from–They are several houses down and I don’t know them other than to wave.) They care for their three grandchildren during the day and I often see them walking together. The kids are absolutely adorable and smiley!

All is well, except for my youngest daughter who seems to have some sort of intestinal bug. She’s never sick 😦 I hope all is well with you and your family! 🙂

    • Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my photo. I’m not exactly sure what you are referring to when you say Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as I’ve never seen the movie. However, now I’m curious and will have to look the movie up.

Hope you have a fabulous day!

    • Thank you for the link. I’ve been over to visit your wonderful blog and viewed the photo’s of the station. What a shame that its no longer operable and wonderful at the same time that it still exists today for historical purposes.
